  1. What beautiful, beautiful children! I’m so stoked for the rest of the Race… so excited to see God work, to see you guys minister, and to be reminded & challenged in important ways by your adventures and stories!

Love you & praying for you all, Steph!

  2. Oh those big big brown eyes and giant smiles. Try not to smuggle them out in your backpacks, because I am sure you want to. You take beautiful shots of people, capturing their beauty. I look forward to more pictures and blogs to come

  3. Hi Steph, the video was so wonderful, I enjoyed seeing just what you and the team are doing. Praise God for you all and your willingness to serve Him. Love, Peg

  4. So beautifully done. Thank you. Liked the chicken feet shot. Reminded me of my Italian grandmas cooking!! Keep up the good work for the Lord!!

  5. That video was great, Steph! In the lonliness of my world, your blogs, photos and videos are the highlight of my days; putting things into perspective, if for only a few minutes. You and your team are making a difference in our world for Jesus’ sake, and I’m so proud of you. The video made me cry. I’m so impressed with what we’ve been able to receive from you so far (technology-wise) — though I shouldn’t be, since I pray and ask the Lord to keep the path of communication open. He is faithful, even when I lack faith. The video was more than I imagined you could produce since you had to travel light and being in a remote area, etc. I have been so much more thankful for the Internet since you left for this race. I hope we are as encouraging to you as you have been to us! After a conversation I had with Marcelle last weekend, the chicken feet reminded me of her Italian grandma’s cooking too! Did you really eat one of those? “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed (or eating chicken feet), do it all in the name of the Lord, Jesus!” God bless you, girl.
    With love and prayers,

  6. So many things that I loved about that. I like the part where you ran across the log and then turn around and throw your hands up in victory 🙂 you are great, steph, and I miss you. Also, I was working at the daycare today and holding a beautiful little 1 1/2 year old boy. he had wiped snot across his cheek, and all I could think of was those precious ecuadorian babies with chapped faces…
Third, I can’t believe you are actually there and have started your YEAR of missions! 🙂 my heart is jumping inside. in a good way ;o)
