happy chicken day [pics]
I just wanted to thank you all for ALL your support. First, financially. And second, all your prayers, blog comments, and facebook messages. They seriously keep me going. Here in Romania, we’re experiencing some lovely COLD weather, so here are some pictures of our Romanian November. But first, Thanksgiving!
Linsdey and I just spent the morning cooking for 19 Americans, 2 Brits, and a Canadian.

Hi Steph,
All I can say is “Wow”! I was in Bulgaria once on business travel and of course we had great accommodations, but your table and the team you share it with look so much more inviting! May God bless you and the team and thanks for allowing us to be a part of the Race (vicariously of course).
In love and prayer,
Sue
SO… I wore your shirt today to my high school’s homecoming game (cause it looks like it could be one of my high school’s shirts) And I got to tell people about the world race! YAY! I am thankful for you!
Love,
Rachel
Hi Steph! I really missed seeing you at Thanksgiving Eve service — had a nice chat with your grandma — we agreed that it wasn’t the same without you.
I am thankful that I had time to go on the computer this evening; always thankful for your blogs; thankful to have known you for so many years and to be able to see your transformation into who God has created you to be; I, too, am thankful to be a small part of this World Race with you, and thankful to be able to see so many countries through your eyes; I am thankful for the privilege to pray for you and your team, and so very thankful for God’s protection over you so far, for His provision, and for all He is accomplishing through you.
Happy Thanksgiving with Love,
Angela
Hey Stsaph,
I am thankful for your growth and walk with the Lord, what He is teaching you and your world race ‘adventures’ that not only help OUR faith, but amuse (that hideous Santa, the 12 guinea pigs)!!
I too am thankful for the blogs for they make it a ‘mission trip’ for us at home too. I do hope our blogs help and encourage, as it;s diffucult to leave home and family (as Jesus did), not have a place to lay your head (as Jesus did), we pray daily for you! Heaven will reveal what a great work y’all have done!
We are thankful for you, Love,
Susan
I have to compliment you on your beautiful photography. I almost feel like I’m there with you. You are in our thoughts and prayers regularly. Keep up the glorious work of spreading the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!! God Bless you all. Marcelle Maggio
Steph,
I am thankful for you and all those who commit to THE WORLD RACE so the Gospel can be spread around the world!
I am thankful for all of you who sacrifice so much, including holidays with your families, to do the Lord’s work!
I am thankful for the growth and beauty I see in you with every picture you post!
I am thankful to be a small part of this race with you and given the opportunity to pray for so many every day!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Love in Christ!
Traci
Dear Steph
I read and reread your transmissions and though i do not always respond, i AM always touched in a very special way either through tears or laughter or delight. I have to say that the picture of you in this blog with just that close up of your beautiful eyes behind the blossoms covered in snow is THE most beautiful pix of you –the Lord’s joy is so evident! (And who would know that beneath that beauty are bobbie pins and a french braid? Amen for the simple things to be thankful for!)
We missed you at Thanksgiving Eve service for sure; it is always the most wonderful way to start the season of gratitude –sharing precious tears and sharing testimonies.
But i would guess you had lots of BOTH at your Happy Chicken Day table. Love you and praying for you. Iris
